It was a given that Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Returns' will open big. But after what we get to hear now, Ajay Devgn-Kareena Kapoor's 'Singham Returns' has opened huge!

Friday, being a national holiday, on account of Independence Day saw in great numbers of audience flocking to the theatres to catch the otherwise Rohit-Shetty entertainer. Full of masala and high dosage of entertainment, the film has approximately collected over Rs 30 crore, although the final tabulations haven't been made. 'Singham Returns' has definitely broke open all previous estimations, taking its collections to a huge altitude.

While we had already predicted a bombastic opening for the film, we still never expected the film to cross the Rs 30 crore mark. But Ajay Devgn seems to have made it possible and with this, his 'Singham Returns' will not just the biggest opener of his career, but also for 2014. Seems 'Singham Returns' has given Salman Khan the unexpected 'Kick' this time! Salman Khan's 'Kick' had an opening around Rs 26 crore, which definitely seems to have been overtaken by this Rohit Shetty entertainer.

With Saturday and Sunday also expected to have huge footfalls, 'Singham Returns' might also be Ajay and Kareena's fastest film to reach the Rs 100 crore mark.
