Adnan Sami decides he's had enough of Pakistanis trolling him...
Updated : Apr 18, 2017, 05:18 PM IST
The whole issue of 'who said what?!' with Snapchat in the past two days continues to grip the nation. Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel's alleged comment over not expanding the app to a 'poor country' like India did not go down well with the country, which went up in flames over the remark. The people of the country immediately resorted to bashing it on social media and un-installing the app.
The whole incident did result in some funny situations as well (Sonu Nigam-Sonu Sood) but one celebrity that did put his hat in the game was Adnan Sami. Sami took to Twitter to slam the CEO's comment and announced that he had also un-installed the app. He tweeted "Just uninstalled #snapchat .. You guys @Snapchat can kiss our 1.2 billion 'poor' progressive bottoms!"

His comment resulted in hundreds of Pakistanis trolling Sami on Twitter for not being true to the country he actually belonged to. Twitter had a field day with bashing Sami and hundreds of people joined in on the fun.

But it seems like Sami's had enough and wants to clear the air. He shut down the trolls by tweeting in response to his over 350 thousand followers, writing "My tweet wasn't bout U.It ws bout Snapchat.Stop trying 2 jump in & b relevant like a jilted lover!Get over it.Jai Hind!"

Sami is not the only celebrity to speak out on the issue, as others like Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Sushant Singh Rajput, Neha Dhupia and Vicky Kaushal also offered their 2 cents on the subject.
