A Telugu film made on Vidya Balan?

Not long ago, a storm erupted when Ram Gopal Varma used Sridevi’s name as a title of his erotic entertainer Sridevi. Following this, the English Vinglish actress’ husband Boney Kapoor, later sent a legal notice to RGV, blowing the controversy to epic proportions. Now, yet another Bollywood diva’s name has been linked with a Telugu film title. A film called Where Is Vidya Balan? has deliberately used The Dirty Picture star’s name to grab some eyeballs.

The film, which is touted to be crime comedy, stars Prince and Sampoornesh Babu in lead roles. A source reveals that other than her name used in the title, Vidya Balan has nothing to do with the film. When the lead actor, Prince, was asked if he sought Bobby Jasoos star’s permission, he said,” Why should I approach her for any rights, it’s just the title of the film? And why should Vidya be offended if her name is helping us get much needed attention. She should be happy we are grabbing so many eyeballs.”

The film in question, has managed to get Vidya’s attention too. While the Kahaani star acknowledged that she is aware of the film, she seems to be quite nonchalant about her name being used without permission. Unlike Sridevi, who sent Ramu a legal notice, Vidya proffered not to give much attention to this matter, as she shrugged and signed off by saying,” I don’t care.
