The deceased pensioner, identified as Soniram, booked for a case of robbery, hung himself to end his life in jail number five

An under trial prisoner at Tihar Jail allegedly committed suicide on Saturday by hanging himself. However, police have not found any suicide note and the motive behind suicide is being probed into.
According to the police, the deceased pensioner, identified as Soniram, booked for a case of robbery, hung himself to end his life in jail number five. As other inmates raised alarm, authorities brought him down he was rushed to the jail hospital where he was declared brought dead. Police was then informed and the body was sent for a post-mortem examination. The victim's family was informed and inmates are being questioned to find out the motive behind the death.
