After its massive victory in the MCD elections, BJP chief Amit Shah will be in the national Capital on Tuesday to set the 'vision' of its newly-elected 181 councillors in his 'Margdarshan' speech at the ruling party's Vijay Utsav meeting to be held at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Civic Center in central Delhi.

Over 1,200 party workers including both new and outgoing corporators will gather to listen to Shah's address at the C-block's Kedarnath Sahni Auditorium.

This will be the first time since the win and after the Panch Parmeshwar Sammelan in March that kick-started the party's campaign for the elections, that the BJP national convenor will be addressing the party workers in a formal address in the city.

"We have made elaborate preparations for the event tomorrow. Besides new and outgoing councillors, all the party workers who held important? positions in the elections and those who worked at the grassroots have been invited. There will be regional music bands to welcome the party chief," said Rajesh Bhatia, BJP state general secretary.

Besides the win and the vision, what tops the party agenda is the preparation of strategy for the possible re-election to the 21 Assembly seats.

According to senior party officials, "The verdict to the disqualification of 21 AAP MLAs over office of profit is expected to be out soon. Amit Shah ji...will be discussing the strategy for the bypolls to these seats in the meeting."

Outgoing councillor and South Corporation's leader of the House Subhash Arya, said, "Important announcements for the workers could be expected in the meeting."

Besides Shah, senior party leaders including Nirmala Sitharaman, Vinay Sahasrabuddhe and Jitendra Chaudhary, will also be attending the event.

Poorva Sankla, 22, the party's youngest councillor from southwest Delhi's Raghuvir Nagar said, "I am looking forward to the event. It will be motivating for us to know the vision and work on it through the party's biggest leader."
