'Why would we hide it?' questions Prabhas on rumours of dating Anushka Shetty

Prabhas is often in news regarding his wedding, and a name which often comes up on the list is Anushka Shetty. For the uninitiated, Shetty is Prabhas' good friend since 10 years and the two worked together in a few films, including Baahubali: The Conclusion.

Not only did their on-screen romance become talk of the town, but Prabhas and Anushka Shetty, reportedly, shared some undeniable chemistry in real-life too. Clearing the air, Prabhas had recently told Mumbai Mirror, "Anushka and I are very good friends but if there was something more, wouldn’t someone have spotted us together in the last two years?"

Now in a recent interaction with CNN-News 18's Rajeev Masand, the actor went on to counter-question why would he hide the relationship. He stated, "You would know if there was something, right? We can't run and hide for 2 years if me and Anushka were dating. Why would we hide it?"

For the uninitiated, Prabhas was snapped on the sets of Anushka Shetty's film Bhagamathi, with his face covered. The two have often been snapped together, including a cozy video of the two from SS Rajamouli's son's wedding. Previously in 2019, when Prabhas, Rajamouli and Rana Daggubati graced Karan Johar's chat show on TV, Koffee With Karan, Prabhas shared that he's very much single, adding that, "If anyone works for two years definitely they will link up with them."
