Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has finally made her much-awaited debut at the Cannes Film Festival this year and we must say she has come prepared. After sporting a floral kimono jumpsuit yesterday, the gorgeous actress surprised us with her sartorial choices on Day 2.

For her first look she opted for an off-white Elan halter-neck top and flared, pleated parallels of the same colour. She completed the look with a vibrantly-printed kaftaan. With her hair tied in a bun and minimal makeup, Mahira looked nothing less than a diva.
A few hours later, she turned out in a bright yellow off-shoulder top and high-wasted pants. She accessorized the look with a broad white belt and dainty golden danglings. The lady seems like a whiff of fresh air, giving us a much-needed break from elaborate gowns and over-the-top costumes. Mahira's Cannes debut is being hailed as a historic event by the Pakistani women, who are obviously elated about their country's representation in foreign lands. Let us remind you that Mahira is the first Pakistani actress to have been invited for the Festival De Cannes. She is attending the event as a brand ambassador of cosmetics giant L'Oreal (just like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor, who represent L'Oreal from India).
"Couldn't be more proud to have a sister who continues to open doors for future generations of Pakistan women. To make them believe they can achieve anything they want if they truly believe and love what they do," tweeted an over-whelmed Pakistan-based fashion designer, Hassaan Kahn.
Best-known for her Pakistani series Humsafar starring Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 2016 with Raees. She was in news recently for reportedly dating Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor.
