Milind Soman has fans wondering if he is part of Akshay Kumar's Laxmii after the 55-year-old actor and model shared a fascinating picture where his face is covered with vermillion and he is sporting a nose pin and heavily kohled eyes.
Milind wrote on Instagram, "Travel Tuesday! I know its not holi but spent the last few days in Karjat near Mumbai doing some fun things - will share more soon now off to Chennai!"
His wife Ankita Konwar was among the first few to comment on the post. "Kamaal," she wrote.
As soon as Milind shared the photo fans couldn't help but remember Akshay Kumar in just released Laxmii. "Are you playing role in Laxmi," asked one as another called the look "spectacular".
It was recently that Milind had celebrated his 55th birthday by running naked on a beach in Goa. The image that was clicked by his wife created quite a stir as an FIR was lodged in Goa for the photo. The south Goa Superintendent of Police Pankaj Kumar Singh had confirmed that the actor was booked under section 294 (obscenity) of the Indian Penal Code, along with other relevant sections of the Information Technology Act.
Actor Pooja Bedi had come out in support of Milind Soman and said that there is "absolutely nothing obscene" about the photo and called it "aesthetic".
Pooja took to Twitter to compare the picture of Milind with those of naked Naga sadhus and said that "smearing ash" cannot make nudity acceptable.
She tweeted, "Absolutely nothing obscene about @milindrunning aesthetic pic. The obscenity lies in the minds of a viewer imagining more! His crime is being good looking, famous & setting bench marks! If nudity is a crime all naga babas should be arrested. Smearing ash can’t make it acceptable!"
