Diana Penty lists 5 essentials a runaway bride should pack

The talented and gorgeous actress Diana Penty first won our hearts as the perfect girl-next-door in Cocktail, and then took us by surprise when she transformed into a runaway bride for her second film Happy Bhag Jayegi. 

With her strikingly different portrayals onscreen, Diana has made a mark in the industry, and has become an actress that directors can bank on. 

And now yet again, Diana is all set to surprise us with her upcoming film Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi. 

In an interview with Bollywoodlife.com, when Diana was asked what according to her would be the five most essential things that a bride should have with her before she elopes from her wedding, she said, "Running shoes, money and if required foreign currency, cell phone, water to keep oneself hydrated and socks so that your feet are not sticky while you run, otherwise nobody will take you in!"

Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is the sequel to Happy Bhag Jayegi. 

While talking about the second installment in the franchise, Diana had earlier told PTI, “If you like the first one, you will also like the second one. It’s the same space. It is funny, crazy and sweet. 

It’s a joyride. It is funnier than the first one. It feels good that a film is good enough for the makers to consider a part two. I feel proud when I think of that.”

Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is directed by Mudassar Aziz, who also helmed the prequel.

The comedy of errors of sorts that also features a talented cast, including Jimmy Sheirgill, Piyush Mishra, Sonakshi Sinha and Jassi Gill is scheduled to hit the screens on August 24.
