Tabu-Jimmy Sheirgill to share screen space after 22 years in Luv Ranjan's next with Ajay Devgn

Jimmy Sheirgill, who made his debut with the intense Maachis in 1996, worked with Tabu in his first movie. Post that, they were part of Silsilay (2005), but never shared screen space in it. Now, 22 years later, they are working together again. This time, however, the project will be in a completely different space. Produced by Luv Ranjan and directed by Akiv Ali, it’s an urban comedy, which has Ajay Devgn and Tabu headlining the cast. Says a source, “Strangely, Tabu and Jimmy’s path haven’t crossed during the last 22 years. The two actors are happy to work together again. In fact, Tabu even mentioned to people that it’s incredible to work with Jimmy after such a long time.”

REUNION TIME

In the last three years, Tabu has collaborated with some of her former co-stars. Apart from Jimmy,  she also reunited with Ajay after an 18-year break in Drishyam (2015). Post that, the two friends have worked together in the blockbuster Golmaal Again (2017) and will also be seen in this film. And with the reunion yielding great returns at the box office, this one, too, will be eagerly awaited. “Ajay, Tabu and Jimmy are such good actors. It’s great that their dates matched and they could come together to star in this movie,” adds the source.
