Cannes 2018: Sonam Kapoor and her Raanjhanaa co-star Dhanush won’t meet in the French Riviera, here's why

We are guessing that soon after her marriage and wedding reception scheduled for May 7-8 in Mumbai, Sonam Kapoor will leave for Cannes with husband Anand Ahuja in tow. The Veere Di Wedding actress is expected to walk the red carpet at the French Riviera because she, Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan endorse the international brand which is the main sponsor of the festival. 

While on the subject of Cannes, one hears that Sonam’s Raanjhanaa co-actor Dhanush is also going to be present at the festival. He is expected to launch the poster of his film The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir, in which he co-stars with Argentine French actress, Bérénice Bejo. The movie, which is scheduled for a May 30 release in France and a deferred release in India, has been sold in 100 countries till now. But Dhanush and Sonam are unlikely to meet at Cannes because their schedules do not match.
