Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja have reportedly been together for over four years and are now all set to walk down the aisle on May 8th. The actress never spoke about her relationship and never declared her love for Anand in as many words but the two never tried to hide their relationship as well. Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja who share their love for fashion and travelling have been giving us glimpse of their cracking chemistry on social media for quite some time now. She is getting married soon and has now explained her stand at sharing her personal life the way she like it, only through social media.
In an interview to Firstpost, 'Veere Di Wedding' actress clarified why she acknowledged her relationship on Instagram but not to the press, " Social media is in my control. I am not going to disrespect this person and be like that he doesn't exist in my life. At the same time, I am not going to disrespect that person by speaking about him and other people interpreting in a different way. So I will not talk about it or hide it."
In the past, Sonam Kapoor had shared many candid moments of her skype chat conversations with Anand Ahuja as her Instagram story. She also revealed that he had no clue of her shooting him on camera. Sonam even had adorable things to say about his Instagram account (how pictures of shoes dominate his accoun) and his firangi accent. Sonam said, "He has a very strong American accent but now his accent is becoming more Indian."
So, now the couple has one big rule in the relationship and by the looks of it it has quite to do with Sonam Kapoor's addiction to social media. Bride-to-be revealed, "It's a rule basically Anand has put on both of us. Right before I sleep I have to put my phone on charging in the bathroom or I charge it in the hall of other room. "

The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate the special moment in our lives."
