Sonam Kapoor has no plans to take break from work after she gets married to beau Anand Ahuja on May 8th
With just few days to go before lovebirds Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tie the knot in an intimate wedding, preparations are going on in full swing.
The wedding celebrations begin on May 7th with mehendi ceremony in late afternoon followed by Anand Karaj on May 8th morning. The same evening the newlyweds will throw a star-studded bash in Mumbai for friends in the film industry.
Anil Kapoor's bungalow is all decked up with lights giving us shaadi feels, her cousins Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and others are busy rehearsing for the full filmy sangeet ceremony. Bride-to-be Sonam Kapoor is enjoying all the love and attention coming her way and her groom Anand Ahuja has also arrived in Mumbai and his family is also flying down from all parts of the world.
But did you know that after getting hitched on May 8th, Sonam Kapoor will be back to work with vengeance and even her honeymoon will get delayed owing to her hectic schedule. According to Mumbai Mirror report, Sonam Kapoor will be at the French Riviera on May 14th and walk the red carpet. Unlike reports of her beau Anand Ahuja accompanying him, Sonam will be walking the red carpet all by herself at Cannes Film Festival 2018. As per Mumbai daily's sources Anand won't be at Cannes and the couple won't have time to go on a honeymoon before October.
Sonam Kapoor's has a busy work schedule with 'Veere Di Wedding' releasing on June 1st. The actress will also resume shoot for Shelly Dhar’s 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga', which is her first film with daddy Anil Kapoor. In August, the actress begins shooting for 'The Zoya Factor' with Dulquer Salmaan which she will shoot in start to finish schedule.
According to reports, after marriage Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will be based out of Delhi where the groom's family lives and in Mumbai as well, where Sonam is based.
Time and again, the Kapoor kudi has spoken out against the prejudices and stereotypes attached to an actress getting married. With her own wedding, Sonam, seems to be setting an example now.
