Will FBI help solve murder?

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) and Jayanagar police, who have been on their toes to solve the double murder of AS Venkata Rangan (79) and his wife Vasanta Venkata Rangan (75), have come across a concrete clue that could lead them to the probable killers. However, they are facing technical difficulties with it.

A CCTV camera at the entrance of Khazana Jewellers, adjacent to the house, has captured images of four figures getting out of the house. Investigation officers said that though the footage shows four figures coming out of the house, it is not clear.

"The images, which appear for just the fraction of a second, are not at all clear. Though we suspect that it could be the housemaid and her associates, we do not want to arrive at conclusions," the officer said.

The footage showed the people getting out at 11.45 am. Investigating officers said that they don't have the technology to zoom into such images to figure out who the culprits were. "Only the FBI has it," one of them said.
