Seven Taliban militants killed in US drone attack in Pakistan

A US drone strike in the restive Khyber tribal region of northwest Pakistan killed at least seven Taliban militants today, officials said.

The drone fired missiles at a vehicle in Spin Daren area in Khyber tribal agency, they said.

Most US drone attacks have focused on the Waziristan region bordering Afghanistan and this was one of the few occasions when the spy planes have hit targets in other parts of the tribal belt.
