50 people feared dead in PoK as bus plunges into river

At least 50 people were feared killed when a bus plunged into the Neelum river in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir today, officials said.

The accident occurred at Changa when the bus was going to Neelum from PoK capital Muzaffarabad.

Assistant commissioner Qayyum Mughal said rescue teams were trying to retrieve all the bodies from the river.

Divers and rescue workers had so far retrieved at least 25 bodies, state-run PTV reported.
