10 killed, 33 injured as tourist bus overturns in China

At least 10 people were killed and 33 others injured today when a packed tourist bus overturned in China's Hunan province.

The accident took place in Yongshun County, when the bus carrying 49 people overturned, the local government said.

The injured people have been admitted in hospitals in the nearby Zhangjiajie City, a government statement was quoted as saying by the state-run Xinhua news agency.

It said the authorities have started a probe into the accident.
