In a bizarre incident a beluga whale speculated to be a 'Russian Spy' returned a phone that had been dropped in the ocean.

According to a DailyMail report, Isa Opdahl, who was out in a boat with her friends, accidentally dropped her phone in the water. The clip shows the whale promptly holding the phone in his mouth and bringing it back to the surface. The video of the incident has now gone viral.

The video was shared by Isa on the Instagram and she captioned it, “when animals are kinder than humans #beluga #whale This video is being represented by LADbible Group.” (sic)

The clip has surfaced days after a beluga whale was found with a tight harness that appeared to be Russian and had raised the alarm of Norwegian officials leading to speculations that the animal may have escaped from a Russian military facility.

The ownership of the whale is still not confirmed but it looks like it was trained for some purpose. As per the reports, Norwegian fishermen spotted a harness fitted with a mount for the camera or weapon.
