Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said on Monday the amount of money paid into the state budget this year from state company dividends could be reduced, Russian news agencies reported.

"The amount of dividends in the budget could be revised downwards after a directive is adopted by the Russian government," TASS news agency quoted him as saying.

"But we must also note that the 2016 profits of a number of companies are actually higher than we expected when we prepared the budget."
