A gunman in the city of Douglasville in Georgia has killed at least five people including himself and left two children injured.

A gunman in the city of Douglasville in Georgia has killed at least five people including himself and left two children injured.

Douglas County Sheriff's Lt. Glenn Daniel said that the shooting was reported through a 911 phone call at around 3 pm, reported Fox News.

The names of the suspect or the victims have not yet been revealed by the investigators as their family members have not yet been notified.

Daniel said that the gunman broke into a house and shot his ex-wife and several children. He added that this was the worst case he had seen in the last 20 years.

There is no clear report on when the couple was divorced or whether the family had prior contact with the police.
