According to France 24 the police say that there is a "connection" between the shooting of a policewoman in Montrouge, southern Paris that took place on Thursday and Charlie Hebdo shootout that took place on Wednesday.

Police forces have gathered together at the Porte de Vincennes, eastern Paris, after at least one person was injured when a gunman opened fire at the store. The attacker was suspected of being the same gunman who killed a policewoman in a shooting in Montrouge in southern Paris on January 8 and is reported to have links to the shoot out at Charlie Hebdo office.
