Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, on Monday inaugurated the 'India Pavilion' of the Fair and address an India-German business summit.
Speaking at the summit, PM Modi said, "The Hannover Messe is known all over the world. World industry comes here to showcase what they have done. India is a partner nation and I thank Germany for making India a partner Nation."
He further added, "The entire world is looking at India. Demography, democracy and demand are drawing the world to India. Come to India, increase your partnership with India and make use of this opportunity India offers to scale new heights of success."
Later in the day, PM Modi arrived in Berlin in his next leg of his nine-day tour.
Meanwhile, Schoenefeld International Airport in Berlin was evacuated on the same day due to a bomb threat, authorities at the German capital's second airport said.

At the community reception in Berlin, PM Narendra Modi intercated with the Indian diaspora.
PM Modi said, "Sometimes we feel like the Hercules in our society but when we go out we see where we stand. And when we go out and see the trends it encourages us to do better. "

PM Modi speaking at Indo-German Business Summit in Hannover
At the Indo-German Business Summit, PM Modi said, "Germany ranks 8th among foreign investor companies in India. Purpose of my participating in Hannover fair is to highlight that there is more potential in Indo-German economic collaboration. I also take this opportunity for inviting more and more German companies to India. Assure all support from my side."
Talking more about the 'Make In India' campaign, PM Modi said, "The symbol of lion for make in India has been chosen very carefully. The lion because a lion cannot be stopped. We know that our biggest need today is to create jobs for our 65% population which is young.Make in India is the need"
Towards the end, the prime minister said, "It's my advice to you to come&feel change in India's regulatory environment, please don't go by old perceptions. Indo-German partnership should flourish, I expect very good outcome from this coming together. Let's work together with mutual interest and for welfare of people of the two great countries."

Day 1: PM Modi in Germany
Promising a stable business environment, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday wooed German investors saying opportunities in India are "seamless" and huge for a vibrant economic partnership.
Inaugurating he Hannover Messe, a business fair, with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Prime Minister said India is working on a "predictable and transparent" environment to open up investments.
"We are creating an environment that is stable, where rules will not be changed frequently and there will be no surprise elements," he said.
Strongly pitching for his 'Make in India' campaign, he said it was not a "slogan or a brand, but a new national movement."

Modi woos investors; promises predictable tax regime in India
Wooing investors from Germany and the rest of the world, Modi promised a welcoming business environment in India with a "predictable, stable and competitive" tax regime and asserted that the "remaining uncertainties" will be addressed.
He said the task of turning around the systems in India is "huge" and will not be completed overnight but stressed that the government is firmly moving in that direction and it will be done.
Inaugurating, along with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Hannover Fair in which India is a partner country, Modi said his government is "removing unnecessary regulations and simplifying our procedures" to make it easy for doing business in the country and enable foreign companies to participate in the 'Make in India' programme.
"Today, I come to seek German partnership in my own mission to open up India's seamless economic potential. To the industry of the world that has assembled here today, I say that we have no special bias for our host today! India is open and ready to embrace the world," he said addressing the gathering of top business leaders from Germany and other parts of the world.
PM Modi went on to add how Indians and Germans have formed a relationship of mutual fascination and goodwill. He also said that India and Germany share close and warm relationship.
"The goods and service tax is a long needed revolution, that is becoming a reality," PM Modi said.
