Airstrikes kill over 100 ISIS militants near Syria border in Iraq

In an airstrike, carried out by the Iraqi fighter jets against the Islamic State group outside Mosul, killed more than 100 militants.

As per a report in the Fox News, a government statement confirmed the news.

As per the statement the strikes hit three ISIS targets in Baaj, which is a remote northwestern town near the Syrian border, killing around 150-200 militants.

The officials also said that the militants had crossed over from Syria, which indicates that ISIS still enjoys free movement across the borders.
