A family cruise liner has had to refund its passengers after they experienced a harrowing time after their ship was overrun with 1,300 men from Indian tobacco company Kamla Pasand, who held wild parties that featured women ‘dressed as Playboy bunnies,’ Newsweek reported.

According to the report, the cruise liner, named Voyager of the Seas that is operated by Royal Caribbean International, was booked by the team of men, who had come onboard ‘to attend a conference’.

According to the passengers, the men took over the pool decks, bars, and buffets. They alleged that they also harassed fellow passengers by filming young girls on their cell phones.

The report added that a number of ‘scantily-clad women’ were dancing on deck, forcing other passengers to stay inside.

Royal Caribbean International issued full refunds to passengers, news.com.au reported.  “We operate with the safety of our guests and crew as our highest priority, and are currently looking into all guest feedback regarding this incident to ensure it does not happen again,” the company said in a statement.

However, people on Twitter saw the funny side of it, and #RoyalCaribbeanburlesque began trending on Twitter.

According to a Times of India report, Indian travellers are renowned for doing this. One even told the daily that on a recent trip to Thailand, over 600 people kept asking the tour operators where they could 'find girls'.
