Will Akshay Kumar replace Salman Khan as the host for Bigg Boss 11?

TV audience is all set to get a new Bigg Boss for the upcoming season 11. Yes, if reports in The Quint are to be believed then Salman Khan is going to be replaced by Akshay Kumar. We already know that Akki will be hosting Dus Ka Dum which was earlier hosted by Salman, and now sources suggest that after Bhaijaan making an exit from Bigg Boss, Akshay Kumar seems the next obvious choice. And no there is no ego battle between the two actors who are going to be seen together in next Karan Johar production as well. Reports suggest that the transition is going to be a very smooth one.

According to The Quint report, " Salman has been wanting to opt out of Bigg Boss for a long time now. Every year he announces he won't do Bigg Bossas it impinges on his other commitments, and takes a lot of time from the superstar. But now he is seriously keen to go on.Akshay Kumar with his huge mass connect is seen as the next best replacement."

Salman Khan has been the most popular Bigg Boss Host so far, he took over the show in season 4, and even when Sanjay Dutt was hosting season 5, Salman was seen making quite a few appearances at eviction episodes and even the grand finale. It'll be interesting to see if Akshay Kumar will be able to match upto Salman Khan's success in Bigg Boss.
