TV hottie Sonarika Bhadoria, who shot to fame with her portrayal of the character of Parvati in popular mythological show Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, is all set to be back on Television, this time in the avatar of Anarkali for the upcoming show Mughal-E-Azam. Sonarika was last seen playing the protagonist in Prithvi Vallabh. The makers of Mughal-E-Azam have been hunting for the perfrct face to be cast for the role of Anarkali in the ambitious project Mughal-E-Azam and looks like they've finally zeroed in on Sonarika, who's most likely to  bag the role opposite Shaheer Sheikh, who's reportedly going to play Mughal prince Salim on the show.

A report on TOI quoted a source close to the show as saying,"Several actresses were considered for the part, but when we thought of Sonarika, we realised that she fit the bill perfectly. While things have been formalised verbally, she is yet to sign on the dotted line.”

Though, Sonarika has not responded to the reports yet, fans are excited to have her back on TV. Not just her, if recent reports doing the rounds are anything to go by, then actress Aruna Irani too will be seen as a part of the show in the character of Hamida Begum.

Reportedly, Mughal-E-Azam is to begin rolling from June 30 and will be launched on the channel Colors by the end of July.
