After dating each other for seven years, the two ready to take the next big step in their relationship. In an interview to Bombay Times, the couple made the grand announcement. Abhinav said, "Yes we are taking our relationship forward to a new phase... a phase where we will celebrate each other's imperfection and create memories for a lifetime." Not just this, the actor also revealed that they plan to get hitched in June this year. "We are yet to zero in on a date as we have a couple of options. The venue too is to be finalised," he added
The groom-to-be also confirmed that the wedding will happen according to Himachali and Punjabi customes as Rubina hails from Himachal Pradesh and Abhinav is Punjabi. After being by each other's side for seven long years the couple has decided to get married without any parental pressure from either sides. Abhinav told BT,"I was very clear that I won't get married until I find the person I can be myself with and Rubina is just that. Also, we didn't need any convincing to make up our minds. We just decided that we needed to take our relationship to the next level after dating for so long."
Congratulatory messages have started pouring in as bride-to-be has already promised a grand party to actor Karan Grover.
On work front, Rubia Dilaik made her debut on TV with Choti Bahu - Sindoor Bin Suhagan and is currently playing the lead role in Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. Abhinav Shuklais trying to balance work in movies and on the small screen. Last year the actor was seen in Aksar 2.
