The real reason why Sony made Salman Khan shoot with Sunil Grover and not Kapil Sharma!

Enough has been said about Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma's feud. Moving on, the after effects of the fight has been detrimental, especially for The Kapil Sharma Show. 

The TRPs of the show had been on a decline ever since the team split into two halves. Audiences started missing Rinku bhabi and Dr Mashur Gulati and there were talks about Sony planning a whole new show with Grover instead.

Adding more fuel to the fire, Sony chose to invite Salman Khan to promote his upcoming Eid release Tubelight on the channel. Albeit in a special two hour episode, that was shot with Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar - people who had a huge fallout with Kapil. The special episode has no mention of Kapil. And we know the whole idea and motive behind the plan.

Says a source, "Sony wants to see if a standalone show with Sunil and Ali works better than Kapil's. They are all set to check the ratings they have got for Sunil's show and take their discussion with the comedian forward. In all probabilities, Sony will be signing Sunil and Ali on board for a fresh show which won't have Kapil at all. They are planning to pulla  plug on Kapil's show and have been in talks to figure out which show they can replace it with. If this works out, they will immediately churn out a new show with Sunil as the main man. Kapil needs to rethink his position now."

And from what we hear, the shoot for the special Super Night with Tubelight went very well and everyone had a blast. The audiences are in for a treat.
