‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ actor Rupal Patel aka Kokilaben likely to be discharged from hospital today

Actress Rupal Patel who aced the role of Kokilaben in the show ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ was reportedly admitted to the hospital a few days ago. Her husband was quoted telling India Today that, “She is fine now… No worries."

A source close to Rupal said, “she is expected to return home from the hospital in the next three or four days”.

Updating the same, Rupal’s secretory told Times of India that the actor is likely to be discharged by today.

According to TOI, a source associated with the project told the publication that Rupal Patel is indeed going to be a part of a new project which is a prequel of ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’.

The source said, "Rupalji is going to be a part of the show, which was originally slated to go on floors on June 1. However, unfortunately, she has fallen sick and hence, the shoot of the show has been delayed by a couple of weeks. “Everything is in place and we will commence the shoot once she fully recovers." But her secretary said that talks are still on, but the papers have not been signed as yet”

One of the writers of the original Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Ved Raj is producing the talked about show. It will also star Giaa Manek, Mohammad Nazim, and Vandana Vithlani.
