Saturday Night Live threw a surprise in when they brought out Robert De Niro as Robert Mueller and Ben Stiller as Donald Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen for the show's cold opening this week.
Stiller's Cohen comes rushing to US Attorney General Jeff Sessions (played by Kate McKinnon) and US Vice President Mike Pence (played by Beck Bennett). He is panicking after FBI raids of his home and office because he has to face Mueller for an interrogation.
'You know how much evidence I have in my office? I’m Donald Trump’s lawyer. I have an entire hard drive that’s just labelled ‘yikes!'" said Stiller's Cohen.
He goes on praising Trump with adjectives like 'smartest, kindest, sexiest, least colluding man' before Sessions and Pence send him to see someone down the hall.
This is when Cohen meets De Niro's Mueller. Special Council Mueller hooks him up to a polygraph and starts asking questions.
"How’d you like that pee pee tape?"
"Did you make a payment of $130,000 to Stormy Daniels?"
"Yes," replies Cohen.
"Did President Trump know about it?"
The moment Cohen says no, the polygraph starts going crazy over the lie.
"It was supposed to be a gift. Like a rock you throw through the window with a note tied to it that says, 'stop talking,'" says Cohen.
De Niro's Mueller continues interrogation and reveals Donald Trump and his aids' code names in the ongoing investigation. Trump has gone from being 'Putin's little bitch' to 'Stormy's little bitch.' Ivanka is called 'Girlfriend. Jared Kushner is 'Other Girlfriend' and Cohen himself is 'Dead Man Walking.'
