Rajev Paul's new beginning

When actor Rajev Paul captioned his pic – with a girl – on the social media as, 'To a new beginning. 17Th Aug is The Day...' congratulatory messages for his wedding started pouring in.

But the actor was only alluding to his short film, To a New Beginning, releasing on Thursday on a digital platform.

"Just like the name suggests, the film is about new beginnings when a girl and a guy meet. It's about how things are not the way they are perceived," says Rajev, also hinting at the fact that he is not getting married today like everyone is thinking.

The actor will be seen on screen after an episode in Aahat in 2015. "I've been doing shows for my play, Wedding Album, with Lilette Dubey, writing poetry and scripts,” he says.

He will soon be seen on television again, in a daily soap on a mainstream channel. “I couldn't stay away from the arclight anymore. Once an actor always an actor,” he says.
