Much like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's Kaira, tension simmering between real-life couple Shivangi Joshi-Mohsin Khan?

Star Plus's nine year old show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently took a two-year leap after which the show's lead characters - Karthik (played by Mohsin Khan) and Naira (played by Shivangi Joshi) were shown to be living separately in Mumbai as Shubham's tragic death drew a wedge between the happily-married couple.

And now latest reports suggest that not just on-screen, their real-life love story has also hit a rough patch. Much to their fans' disappointment, a source close to the show revealed to Spotboye.com, "There is some sort of disconnect between Shivangi and Mohsin, they are not as warm with each other, as they used to be. It seems like some tension is simmering between the two."

The rumours gained momentum after the recently-held iftaar party on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where the couple was reportedtly seen behaving in a very strange manner. Anyone, who would have seen them attending parties earlier, could easliy make out that something's not right between the two.

Mohsin and Shivangi have been in a relationship for more than a year. Mohsin had confirmed that they are dating each other last year in February. "Several theories have been doing the rounds, including our link-up, but we didn't allow it to affect our friendship or work. In fact, there was nothing to talk about initially, since we were just friends. Our friendship graduated to love only recently; it's just been a month-and-a-half," he had told TOI.
