Rohit Shetty bids Nia Sharma goodbye and says, "Always be happy and stay the same way you are"
Khatron Ke Khiladi season 8's latest episode saw another round of dangerous stunts performed by its contestants.
The episode began with Ritvik Dhanjani and Ravi Dubey's chilli pepper task. Both these actors had a tough time sitting in the gas chambers.Host Rohit Shetty warned Ritvik not to cover his face with his T-Shirt. But it was Ravi who stepped out of the tank first, saying it was the most difficult task of the season and saying death must feel like this. Ritvik came out second, only to get a 'fear fanda' from Rohit Shetty, as he didn't follow the instructions of not hiding his face with his clothes.
Shantanu Maheshwari and Geeta Phogat went into the tank together and Geeta came out first saying, she felt like getting reborn again. Shantanu won the task and tells everyone who got the fear fanda that they will have to compete with each other in one more stunt. Weakest contestant go to the elimination round with Nia Sharma and Lopamudra Raut.
The host asked Nia and Lopa who will join them in the elimination task. While Nia opted fir Geeta, Lopa took Karan's name. Rohit explained the next task to them which was their heads being locked in boxes which will be filled with either Tarantulas, snakes or rats. Contestants had to crawl backwards to the finishing line, where they will find keys and with which they will have to unlock their boxes and come out. He tells them that all three will have to perform the task together as it's a head on week. Rohit called Gabbar to assign the animals to each of them. Ritvik got rats, Geeta got Tarantulas and Karan had snakes for company.
Karan tells Rohit that he had high fever because of the chili spray task and also pleaded to come out of the box as soon as he was sent inside it. After complaining of feeling claustrophobic, Karan took a while before finally going for the task again. Ritvik came first and Geeta and Karan followed next. The snake blocked Karan's nose beacuse of which he started panicking, till an assistant director came to his rescue. Karan started crying, he removed his mike and said he cannot do this anymore. When Ravi and Ritvik tried calming him down, the actor fainted and had to be taken to the hospital in a stretcher. This left all the contestants sad and emotional. Ravi and Ritvik were visibly upset to see their friend in a vulnerable situation. Rohit calms them down saying that there is always an option to abort a task mid-way but Karan chose to complete it. But Karan bounced back with a bang in the next location with a new task. Rohit asked him if he was ready to perform the stunt and he said yes! Karan Wahi overcame his fears and continued his innings on Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 but Nia Sharma's journey on the show ended as Rohit bid her goodbye.
