Kapil Sharma's comeback show 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma' is to go on air tonight...
Finally! Popular comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma is back with his show on Television. His comeback show Family Time With Kapil Sharma is all set to go on air from Sunday night at 8 pm on Sony TV. While one would expect that Kapil would have learnt a lesson or two from his previous mistakes and would be careful not to repeat them, looks like that is not the case. The shoot of an upcoming episode for Kapil's show was cancelled, this time with Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. Both Tiger and Disha have been doing the rounds on several TV shows for the promotion of their upcoming film Baaghi 2. Reportedly, the duo was to shoot for Family Time with Kapil Sharma on Friday, but the shoot was unexpectedly cancelled.
Not just that, a press conference was also supposed to be held on Tuesday, March 20, for the launch of the show which was called off. The channel gave an official statement citing "technological issues" as the reason, but apparently, it was just a damage control that they were trying to do. The official statement of the channel read:
"There has been a technical issue on the sets which cannot be resolved immediately. Hence, today’s shoot had to be rescheduled. The press conference has also been rescheduled. We will update you on the revised dates. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
A BollywoodHungama report suggests that the reason is something else altogether. If the said report is to be believed, then the reason is Kapil's former colleague and good friend Sunil Grover.
Well, as per the report, Kapil Sharma is nervous about the new show. Apparently, he has been getting panic attacks in anticipation as well. While the reason for his anxiety can be him making a comeback on TV after a long gap, but to add to that, Kapil's recent war-of-words with Sunil on Twitter is also to blame for his misery. The report adds that post that, Kapil isn't holding up too well in these circumstances.
For those who're uninitiated, Sunil Grover parted ways with The Kapil Sharma Show last year post their infamous mid-air brawl while they were on their way back from Australia. Kapil was accused of physical abuse in an inebriated state on the flight. Post that, Kapil repeatedly tried to apologise to Sunil and get him back on the show but Sunil refused to budge. A few months later, the show went off air, due to unprofessional behaviour of Kapil and repeated incidents of the shoots being cancelled with celebrities.
Now that Kapil is all set to be back on TV, the fans were curious to know if they two of them will also be back together. This triggered the Twitter war-of-words between the two comedians and the rest as they say, is history!
