The last episode of Game of Thrones, 'The Spoils of War' was one of the show's most explosive and spectacular events. It was also in the news for an early leak as a consequence of the massive hack at HBO. For this week's episode, HBO not only released new images, it also confirmed the title, 'Eastwatch'.

In the preview, we see the White Walkers finally inching towards the Wall. But that is not the only action happening in the fifth episode of the seventh season of Game of Thrones. The consequences of burning down the entire Lannister loot (Do you think Ed Sheeran or New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard survived that hellfire?) will have to be taken into account.

Daenerys Targaryen is not done asking people to bend the knee and the real knee bender (get it?) is done mining dragonglass and will have to head home to fight the real war that might save the people for Dany and Cersei to fight and to rule over.

Let's take a look at the happenings in South Westeros as the North prepares for winds of winter.

After Drogon single handedly brought down the Lannister army, the Khaleesi (Emilia Clarke) wants the survivors of the onslaught to 'bend the knee or perish' (Here we go again). Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) is standing by his queen. He cannot help but notice that this is exactly what he had advised Daenerys not to do - rule the people with fear. He fears she is becoming Cersei 2.0.

Tyrion saw his brother, Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldu), amidst the burning battleground and he is wondering about the cost of this war he is a party to. In such a case, of course, he will turn to two trusted friends - wine and Varys.

Cersei, having lost her brother, Lord Commander of the current 'Queensgaurd,' lover, and the only other remaining Lannister she considers worthy, is not taking the blow dealt by Daenerys lightly. The thinking stance and empty bed pack a wagon load of emotions. She has to think about getting Jaime out, pay back the Iron Bank (slimy Tycho Nestoris is still at the Red Keep). Time to call Qyburn and arch that eyebrow

According to the preview, Bran's raven has told Jon Snow and Ser Davos Seaworth about the White Walkers marching towards Eastwatch. This means Jon has to make one more attempt at convincing Dany to be an ally against the real enemy.

Brooding is Jon's best weapon after that Longclaw made of Valyrian steel. Next pictures show Jon wield it with full power!

Broody look number 2 -

Broody look number 3 - We've reached peak broody-ness! Ned Stark Deja vu, anyone?

Combine these images with the lead article image and the following image of Mother of Dragons looking towards the sky. The combination could be implying that Drogon is well, alive, and circling Dragonstone again. We still do not know whatever happened to Jaime Lannister and Dickon Tarly.

Time to say bye bye to Johnny boy. To quote Twenty One Pilots,

He has fallen in love.
He knows it's enough.
But the world looks down and frowns.

The following images look like Daenerys is bidding goodbye to Jon before he heads towards Eastwatch. The tension in the caves of Dragonstone was palpable and Dany seems heartbroken to let the King in the North go.

In the other news from Westeros, Petyr Baelish is doing his day-job of scheming. This time at Winterfell. Samwell Tarly and Gilly are discussing something. Are they headed back to Winterfell since transcribing all the old scrolls is too much?
