Father-son duo Jeetendra-Tusshar Kapoor on TV show

Almost four years after they shared the stage on Kapil Sharma’s show Comedy Nights, Tusshar Kapoor and his father Jeetendra will be seen together again, this time on The Drama Company. They shot for the show yesterday. Tusshar was excited that his dad agreed to come with him on the show.

“It’s only for me that he agreed. I had gone earlier on the show to promote Golmaal Again, but this time, it was personal. Dad was in a good mood. Last time on Kapil’s show he was very quiet. This time he was on a different high because of Laksshya (Tusshar’s son). He has a good sense of humour,” says Tusshar.

However, both of them went separately on the sets. “That’s because I take a longer time to get ready, dad is good-looking, he just has to comb his hair and he is ready. So, I asked him to come later,” smiles the actor who is basking in the success of Golmaal Again, which has become a Rs 200-crore hit. “We thought the film will open well, the energy while shooting was high. But we didn’t think of numbers. Now, that it’s gone to this level and Golmaal is in the air, I feel-on-top-of-the-world. There will be a celebration party soon,” he reveals.
