Birthday Special: Throwback to the time when Shweta Tiwati emerged as the Bigg Boss season 4 winner!

One of the most popular actresses on Indian Television, Shweta Tiwari shot to fame by portraying the character of everyone's favourite bahu, Prerna in the daily soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The show which continued to run for about 7 years made her rise to new heights of name and fame. 

Apart from Kasauti, she not only participated in season 4 of one of the most controversial TV reality shows - Bigg Boss, but also emerged as the winner of the season. The moment was like a dream come true for the actress who won a whopping sum of Rs 1 crore as the prize money. Back then, she had told TOI that she wanted to keep the prize money reserved for the upbringing of her daughter Palak and her education. 

Post Bigg Boss 4, she was also seen as a contestant in celeb dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6. Born on October 6, in Pratapgarh, the actress has come a long way. She's married to Abhinav Kohli and has a son with him whom they've named Reyansh. Shweta was earlier married to Raja Chaudhary with whom she has her elder daughter Palak. She got separated from Raja back in the year 2007 after alleging the he used to misbehave with her on the sets and would also beat her up. 

Shweta was last seen in the show Begusarai (2016) as Bindiya. One look at her Instagram account is enough to tell you how happy she is in her life after her initial struggles. Shweta is truly a winner and a source of inspiration to all.
