Soon after Bharti Singh was granted bail after getting arrested for the possession of drugs, reports were making the rounds that the comedienne will no more be a part of The Kapil Sharma Show

Now, in a strongly-worded interview, her co-actor Krushna Abhishek has responded to the rumours and said that he and the show's host Kapil Sharma stand with Bharti.

During an interaction with the Times of India, Krushna said, "I haven’t heard of any such discussion or development from the channel’s end. No such decision has been taken by the channel. Even if something like this happens, I will support Bharti. She should get back to work. Jo ho gaya woh ho gaya (Whatever has happened, has happened). We stand by Bharti and both Kapil (Sharma) and I are with her. She has my unconditional support."

Krushna said he is proud to call Bharti her sister and that the entire team of The Kapil Sharma Show is upset at comedian Raju Srivastava for the way he spoke about Bharti after her arrest. "Raju Srivastava ne toh bohot hi bakwaas kee hai. What he said was shocking. Usne lifetime ke liye relationship kharaab kar liya hai sabke saath. Poori team hamaari naraaz hai usse for the comment he made (Team 'TKSS' is very upset with him)."

For the uninformed, Raju Srivastava had said, "Can Bharti or her husband Harsh do something like this? My heart is not ready to accept it. What is this? People love you so much, millions of people call you their idol, put your photos on their mobiles, hang them in their homes. They want to be like you and they have been tricked. What is the need to do all of this? It’s not like taking drugs will make you good comedians, or it will give you energy. I am so sad. I was here to defend her on your show, that our Bharti is not like that and that she is a pure artist. But now I see the news that Bharti has been arrest, she has confessed, the police got proof and confiscated ganja from her home. What is even happening? What kind of comedy is this? Where is our film world going?"

He further added, "All these artists, Bharti, Shraddha (Kapoor) and others, if they have free time that they do not know what to do with and start taking drugs, start working on keeping yourself fit. There is so much to do. You are artists, you appear on the big screen. Do you yoga, exercise. If you have time, do theatre, watch good movies." Shraddha was also questioned by the NCB in the drugs case in September.
