Oppo R15 Nebula Special Edition debuts in China

Oppo has launched a Nebula Special Edition for the Oppo R15 in China. The company collaborated with Egyptian industrial designer Karim Rashid and the device sports his signature towards the back of the smartphone too. The device’s rear panel features a blue-pink-red color gradient, which is said to glow in the dark.

The Oppo R15 Nebula Special Edition is priced at RMB 2,999 (approximately Rs 31,900) and is available for pre-order starting May 19. Additionally, for RMB 200 (approximately Rs 2,100) more, you can also get a pair of custom JBL earphones.

In terms of features, the Oppo R15 features 6.28-inch 19:9 AMOLED display along with a 2280 x 1080 resolution. It will be powered by a MediaTek’s new Helio P20 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM. It sports an internal storage of 128GB, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. It comes equipped with a 16MP Sony IMX519 rear camera sensor along with LED flash and f/1.7 aperture.

Towards the front, the device includes a 20MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and USB Type-C. Running Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with ColorOS 5.0 on top, it will be backed by a 3450mAh battery.
