Looks like HMD will introduce a new variant of the Nokia 6 (2018). According to a report, the upcoming device will now include 4GB RAM along with an internal storage of 64GB. The smartphone will be available as early as next week and is rumoured to be priced at Rs 18,999.
At the moment, the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant is available in India at a price of Rs 16,999. In terms of specifications, the device features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a full-HD display with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It will include an internal storage of 64GB, and is upgradable via a microSD card slot up to 128GB.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera with autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and a dual-tone LED flash. It also includes an 8MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS and USB Type-C. A 3,000mAh battery completes the package.
It isn’t a huge upgrade from the Nokia 6 (2017), but is yet offered at a competitive price. The device features a 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. Running Android Nougat out-of-the-box, it is backed up by a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone was well received after its initial release in the Chinese market and managed to garner 250,000 pre-orders within the first 24 hours.
