Nokia 6 (2018) to launch today in China: Leaked pictures and specifications appear online

HMD Global is expected to launch the revamped version of the Nokia 6 in China today. Dubbed, the Nokia 6 (2018), the smartphone was recently spotted on TENAA which offered a glimpse on how it would look.

However, the device doesn’t spot a drastic change in design, from the previous Nokia 6. The noticeable difference is in the positioning of the fingerprint scanner along with a modified design with a rose gold camera accent running around the rear camera module.

In terms of rumoured features, the device will include spot a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 16:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor paired with 4GB RAM. It will be offered in two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB. It will come equipped with a 16MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. Running Android Oreo out-of-the-box, it will be backed up by a 3,000mAh battery.

The original Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. Running Android Nougat out-of-the-box, it is backed up by a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone was well received after its initial release in the Chinese market and managed to garner 250,000 pre-orders within the first 24 hours.
