Leaked: Realme 2 with display notch, dual rear cameras spotted online

Realme, the sub-brand from Oppo, has teased the launch of the upcoming smartphone, the Realme 2. The device was listed on the company website which also gave a glimpse of its design.

It shows the front and back of the device which is spotted in a blue and back color variant with the title ‘A Notch Above’. Based on the image, it looks like the Realme 2 will include a dual-rear camera set up and a fingerprint sensor on the back as well. However, the teaser has been taken down. The Realme 2 is expected to be priced under Rs 20,000.

Oppo launched the Realme 1 in India in May this year. It is available in three variants - 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant for Rs 8,990, 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant for Rs 10,990 and 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant for Rs 13,990.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 6-inch full-HD+ display with a 1080x2160 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, and is offered in 3GB/4GB and 6GB RAM variants. It will be offered in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB inbuilt storage variants and also includes a microSD card for expandable storage. Running Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.0 on top, the device features a 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. A 3410mAh battery completed the package.
