Honor 9 Lite to launch in India on January 17: Here's everything you need to know

Honor 9 Lite will launch in New Delhi, on January 17, and will be available via Flipkart. The device was launched in China last month. The 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs 11,700) and 4GB RAM, 32GB storage variant priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 15,600) along with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant priced at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 17,500).

In terms of specifications, the device sports a 5.65-inch full-HD+ IPS display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, pixel density of 428ppi and a 1080x2160 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor paired with 3GB/4GB RAM. It is offered in 32GB and 64GB storage variants and can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

Running Android 8.0 Oreo, the Honor 9 Lite comes equipped with dual cameras on the front and back. On both sides, the device sports a 13MP primary camera along with a 2MP secondary camera. It also includes PDAF autofocus and LED flash. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB. A 3000mAh battery completes the package. The Honor 9 Lite is rated to deliver a talk time of up to 20 hours on 3G, and a standby time of up to 24 days. Apart from this, the company states that the smartphone can be fully charged in roughly 2 hours 20 minutes.
