HTC U11+

The HTC HTC U11+ is priced at Rs 56,990 in India. It comes with a 6 inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio’ powered by a 3,930mAh battery. Furthermore, HTC’s Edge Launcher function allows users to access notifications and apps with a single hand.

HTC U11+ also features an Edge Sense technology, which allows users to launch the camera and snap photos, call up a voice assistant, and open any app with a single squeeze. Apart from this, users can also access Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa2, instead of using voice commands.

The phone’s new 8MP front camera incorporates the same powerful HDR Boost and noise reduction technology as in the main camera. It also offers full-sensor phase detection autofocus, the same technology as found in top DSLR cameras.

Meanwhile, the HTC BoomSound is 30 percent louder than HTC U11, with richer sound and better dynamic range audio with less distortion. Furthermore, HTC’s USonic ear buds contain in-built advanced active noise cancellation, which automatically helps monitor environmental sound levels. The device is powered by the new Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform.

Honor 9 Lite

The Honor 9 Lite for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant is priced at Rs 10,999 while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 14,999. The device is exclusively available via Flipkart. It will be available in Sapphire blue, Glacier Grey and Midnight Black color variants. 

In terms of specifications, the device sports a 5.65-inch full-HD+ IPS display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, pixel density of 428ppi and a 1080x2160 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor paired with 3GB/4GB RAM. It is offered in 32GB and 64GB storage variants and can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

Running Android 8.0 Oreo, the Honor 9 Lite comes equipped with dual cameras on the front and back. On both sides, the device sports a 13MP primary camera along with a 2MP secondary camera. It also includes PDAF autofocus and LED flash. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB.

A 3000mAh battery completes the package. The Honor 9 Lite is rated to deliver a talk time of up to 20 hours on 3G, and a standby time of up to 24 days. Apart from this, the company states that the smartphone can be fully charged in roughly 2 hours 20 minutes.

LG V30+

The LG V30+ smartphone is available for a price of Rs 44,990. It is available exclusively via Amazon India in Aurora Black and Cloud silver colour variants.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 6-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display along with a 1440x2880 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. Running Android 7.1.2 Nougat with UI-UX 6.0+ on top, the smartphone is expected to get the Android Oreo update soon. It also includes an internal storage of 128GB, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

The smartphone comes equipped with a dual-camera setup – a 16MP sensor with a 71-degree wide-angle lens along with a 13MP sensor with a 120-degree wide-angle lens and an f/1.9 aperture. It also packs in a 5MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth v5.0 with BLE and NFC. The device also includes a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by Bang & Olufsen along with earphones manufactured by B&O Play. A 3300mAh battery completes the package.

Moto X4

Motorola launched the 6GB RAM variant of the Moto X4 in India for Rs 24,999. The smartphone went on sale on February 1 and is available via Flipkart and Moto Hub stores in India.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.2-inch LTS IPS display with full HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution, and 424ppi pixel density. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor with 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. It can be further expanded up to 2TB, via microSD card.

Running Android 8.0 Oreo, the smartphone includes dual rear-camera setup. It features a 12MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, FM radio and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A 3000mAh battery completes the package.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 for the 4GB RAM variant is now available for a price of Rs 11,999 via Flipkart. In terms of specifications, the smartphone will feature a 5-inch HD display with a 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor and includes a microSD card which can be further expanded up to 128GB.

Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 on top, the device comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and PDAF along with a 5MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. A 4100mAh battery completes the package.
