Huawei’s sub-brand Honor, has launched a new smartphone in India called the Honor 8X. The Honor 8X for the 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant will be available for Rs 14,999 while the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage variant will be priced at Rs 16,999. It will be available in Black, Red, and Blue colour variant via e-commerce portal Amazon India.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. It is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor and will be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. Running Android 8.0 Oreo, the device will sport two storage variants – 64GB and 128GB and can be further expanded up to 400GB via microSD card.
The device comes equipped with a dual rear camera set up - 20 primary sensor along with a 2MP secondary sensor. It also includes a 16MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS and microUSB. A 3750mAh battery completes the package.
Recently, Honor launched the Honor 8C in China. In terms of specifications, the device features a 6.26-inch HD+ TFT LCD IPS display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a 720x1520 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC with 4GB of RAM. Running Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2, the device is offered in two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB and can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
The device comes equipped with a dual rear camera set up - 13MP primary sensor along with a 2MP secondary sensor. It also features an 8MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2 LE with aptX and GPS/A-GPS. A 4000mAh battery completes the package.
