Here's why Google Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL won't be launched in India

'Made by Google' Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL flagship smartphones were finally launched its the technology giant at its annual event.

India is one of the biggest smartphone markets globally, but Google's latest entrant will not be available in the country, according to the company.

In an official statement, the company said they decided not to make Pixel 4 available in India.

"Google has a wide range of products that we make available in different regions around the world. We determine availability based on a variety of factors, including local trends, and product features," the technology giant added.

The new duo launched by Google — Pixel 4 and 4 XL — comes with an improved camera system (especially low-light photography), voice control, motion censor and other features.

The camera now features a telephoto lens that enhances camera performance while taking long shots.

Pixel 4 is launched with a starting price tag of $799 (roughly Rs. 57,000) and Pixel 4 XL for $899 (roughly Rs. 64,000). The phones will be shipped on October 24 in multiple countries, excluding India.

Apart from Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Google also launched the PixelBook Go laptop, Pixel Earbuds with voice control.
