Airtel launches new 300 Mbps Home Broadband plan at Rs 2,199; offers 1200GB data

Airtel has now launched a new 300Mbps Home broadband plan for a monthly rental of Rs 2,199. Under this plan, users will get 1200GB of high-speed data along with unlimited STD/ local calls.

However, the availability of this plan will depend on your locality. For example, in New Delhi, the 300 Mbps Airtel broadband plan will be available at a starting price of Rs 2,199 with unlimited local/STD calling. Additionally, Airtel also offers a rollover data limit of up to 100GB.

George Mathen, CEO, Homes, Bharti Airtel said, “Following the resounding success of our V-Fiber home broadband offering, we are delighted to introduce the new FTTH based plans for customers looking for higher speeds. Fixed broadband continues to be the preferred in-home mode for customers to consume online digital content and the average usage per home is growing at a breakneck speed. With this in mind, we will plan to expand our FTTH offerings over the coming days and provide our customers the choice of home broadband plans across a wide range of price points and speeds.”

Recently, Airtel was also offering up to 1000GB of extra data for broadband users. The ‘Airtel Big Byte Offer’ was introduced in May last year with a validity period till March 2018. The offer is now extended till October 2018.

Customers will need to head to the official Airtel site and go to the Broadband section. After choosing the appropriate plan, you will need to enter your personal details such as mobile number, address and more. Once processed, customers will get the extra data following seven days from initiation.

Under this offer, Airtel will offer the additional data to customers who have opted for a monthly rental plan starting at Rs 699 and going up to Rs 1,799 in Mumbai. On the other hand, Airtel will offer the additional data to customers who have opted for a monthly rental plan starting at Rs 699 and going up to Rs 1,299 in Delhi.

The Rs 699 plan offers 40GB data at 40Mbps speed and 500GB bonus data while the Rs 849 plan will offer 55GB of bundled data and 750GB of bonus data respectively. The Rs 1,099 and Rs 1,799 plans will offer 100GB bundled data at 100Mbps speed and 1000GB bonus data as well. The company will also carry forward the unused data next month until October 31, 2018.
