The 14th edition of the FIH Men's Hockey World Cup is set to commence from November 28 in Bhuvneshwar, Odisha and the final will be played on December 16.
The hosts, India, are placed in Group C, which also has the likes of Belgium, Canada and South Africa. India will kickstart their campaign against the South Africans on the opening day of the world event.
Manpreet Singh will lead the Indian side in the tournament, while Chinglensana Singh will be his deputy.
