Maria Sharapova shuts down Twitter user complaining about Rafael Nadal's grunting

Maria Sharapova has been frequently criticised for her on-court grunting. Another top player who grunts a lot during matches is Rafael Nadal.

Nadal, who won his 16th grand slam title with a win at US Open, was criticised by a twitter user for his grunting. He even dragged Maria into the tweet. 

The twitter user who goes by the name of @BernieBaldwin wrote, "Everyone goes on about the noise @MariaSharapova makes, but @RafaelNadal, great player though he is, is equally annoying with his grunting."

Maria Sharapova was quick to respond and shut down the distractor trying to rain on Nadal's victory parade. She asked, "The guy just won his 16th major (!!!) and this is your choice of tweet?"

The tennis world seems to be divided about the issue - there are those who do not mind players grunting during matches and there are some who hate it with a passion.
