Eden Hazard's 22nd minute penalty proved to be the difference as Chelsea beat Manchester United to win 2018 FA Cup.

United's Phil Jones brought down Eden Hazard inside the area and Chelsea were awarded the spot-kick.

Earlier, Romelu Lukaku started on the bench for Manchester United, while Thibaut Courtois will start in goal for Chelsea despite Willy Caballero having played in all six FA Cup ties on route to the final.

Antonio Conte made three changes to the Chelsea side that lost 3-0 to Newcastle United on the final day of the Premier League season.

Antonio Rudiger returned to the defence with Andreas Christensen dropped out of the squad because of a back injury, and Marcos Alonso came in for Emerson Palmieri on the left and Cesc Fabregas started in the middle of a 3-5-2 system.

Eden Hazard, making his 300th appearance for Chelsea in all competitions, was tasked with providing support for Olivier Giroud, preferred to Alvaro Morata up front.
